    Hello,

I've looked various places and tried enforcing no Vsync / Fixed Refresh Rate on my Gsync displays for the Media Player through Nvidia Control Panel to no vial.
Content is nothing special for a relative modern computer, just some old 720p content directly played.

Are there any other idea's anyone may have to why menu's feel laggy and super slow upon playback?

    Thanks

It looks like JMP support with VRR has been problematic for a while.

    https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-med.../issues/91

Have you tried using Jellyfin MPV Shim instead of JMP?

I don't know what that'll do for me?

It doesn't seem like it does VRR according to my monitor.

Video's are direct-playing, I don't know if that helps or not.

The git issue I linked also mentioned enabled OpenGL in Jellyfin Media Player as a workaround. But that doesn't support HDR if that is a deal breaker.

Regardless, it is probably worth commenting on that git issue with your experience with gsync and JMP.

yep, unfortunately I'm having the same issue, and enabling OpenGL changes nothing

If you haven't already, try installing the newly release version 1.12 of Jellyfin Media Player.
