We are pleased to announce the latest stable release of Jellyfin, version 10.9.3!

This minor release brings several bugfixes to improve your Jellyfin experience.

As always, please ensure you stop your Jellyfin server and take a full backup before upgrading!

You can find the full changelogs on the GitHub releases for the server repository and the web repository.

Release prepared with <3 by @joshuaboniface, the rest of the Jellyfin team, and contributors like you.

    Happy watching!

My bot posted a little prematurely... builds are still occurring and will be ready in ~15-20 minutes.

Build are now up. Windows installer and MacOS DMG incoming shortly. Enjoy.

    Thanks guys!
I was wondering if we can make the server detect new version and prompt for update next time?
Wasn't aware of new version until the Intro Skipper bug

Now that the dust has settled on the new 10.9.x version, I tried to update Jellyfin on my Windows Server 2016 Essentials. Installation went fine but I am unable to start Jellyfin because it now relies on the .NET Framework 4.8.1 which is not installable on Windows Server 2016 (installed version is 4.8.0).

Is there really any hard dependency on the .NET Framework 4.8.1 or would it be feasible to provide an up to date Jellyfin server version that is fine with the .NET Framework 4.8.0?
