New Jellyfin Server/Web release: 10.9.4

We are pleased to announce the latest stable release of Jellyfin, version 10.9.4!

This minor release brings several bugfixes to improve your Jellyfin experience.

What repos actually have 10.9+? RPM hasn't been getting anything past 10.8.

Jellyfin no longer makes CentOS/RHEL/Fedora builds. But there are community created RPMs (RPM Fusion).

Spoke to soon. Installing 10.9.4 over 10.9.3 borked my entire server. Been trying to get it back running from back-ups fsince my original post but so far zer oluck. Will try again after some sleep.

Same for me. The first time that has happened to me ever and I've been with Jellyfin for years. That speaks to how reliable things normally are. I'm sure this will be figured out as well. Reverting back to 10.9.3 has returned everything to working.

Apart from having backups, using a filesystem that supports snapshots really helps in cases like these. I had issues with v10.9.4 too causing me to lose all my metadata due to how I named seasons for shows. Using a snapshot, I reverted back to before I updated the server. So I got my data back how I had it.

This fixed a really irritating bug I was having with taglib not properly scanning music files. You guys are the best! The pace of these bugfix updates is really fantastic.

Updating borked my database as it's now malformed. Gotta figure out how to fix that now.

I do have a backup (from updating from 10.8.13 to 10.9.0) but so far trying to revert back hasn't worked at all. Doing a full un-install and then going back to 10.8.13, copying in the data folder and starting over from there. But it's not even uninstalling JF at all now. Ugh these pains are no fun. But the reward is so sweet!
