how do you deal with a series you do not want to continue watching?

i stopped having interest in a series I was watching and now it appears in next up and in continue watching but I will never watch it again. how do you guys deal with that?

In the series listing, click on the check mark to indicate the whole series is watched and it should disappear from next up and continue watching.
