I installed the jellyfin server in a docker container on proxmox, I created the admin user enabling remote connections to the server but I can't connect to the server via sftp, entering the correct credentials filezilla tells me: "Error: Authentication failed.
Error: Critical error: Unable to connect to server" how can I solve it?

Jellyfin does not have an FTP client built-in. Your media files should be located on the HOST and then you configure docker to pass that path into the container.

If your previous setup was had a separate FTP server, that is how. Jellyfin does not, nor ever has, had a FTP server built in. And the Jellyfin credentials only work with Jellyfin.

If you already have your media files on the same PC running docker, you don't need to transfer them into the container. You just put them in a folder and then mount that folder as a volume in docker.

Then you have a couple of methods to transfer files to the Proxmox PC. Create a SMB share on the proxmox PC and use that transfer files. Or use WinSCP to transfer files over SSH.

If you're using the Jellyfin credentials, that won't work. Those only work for the Jellyfin interface. Not for the container or the host.

You use the credentials you use to log into Proxmox.

Yes, I'm using root and the password to access the container shell, I also tried to put container privileged but nothing

Is Jellyfin installed on Proxmox or not?
