Live TV On Now Thumbnails

I have Jellyfin set up for Live TV and DVR using an outdoor antenna and HDHOMERUN.  I have a SCHEDULESDIRECT subscription and have the guide data scheduled to refresh every 30 minutes.   Everything seems to work fine, and the guide data is showing up properly.  However, the "On Now" section of the screen will initially show the thumbnails of programs currently on only if I manually refresh the data.  If I go back in after 30 minutes or so the thumbnails are gone until i refresh the guide data again.
