I'm glad you got it sorted out! Sometimes data just gets stuck in the database. My usual approach is to do a full library scan and replace all metadata, then remove troublesome media from the library, and finally remove and re-add the library. I typically edit the database as a last resort, and I always make backups first. If things go really wrong, I'm ready to do a fresh install, which usually fixes the issue.
