Yes the update failed. It throws an error at some codec or ilbrary. I choose "ABORT".
On next run of the installer, the installer treats it as a totally new install. I set the right paths and install.
Now my Movies folder shows duplicates of ALL the movies!!!! Tv-Shows folder does not show this behaviour.
What folder do I have to go in and check and possibly delete any dupes of metadata or db settings?
In the dashboard and under metadata I see all the dupes... One of the dupes has a dropdown selector called "content type" that is set to "inherit" - the other exact same does not have this option. Which one should burn and go to hell?
Fun way to spend a Sunday, really! Great!
Actually it is not ALL movies but damn close to all of them. So this means I yet again have to rebuild all my libraries and metadata? It is not the first time to say...
But thanks
It is a windoze install because not my computer. I would not touch it for these things otherwise. Yes I am pissed.
A simple update and this is what I get. LOL
EDIT:
Has this something to do with this f#€cked up plugin merge versions to do?
WELL MAYBE THERE THIS IS ANOTHER WAY BUT FOR NOW I NEED TO MANUALLY SIT AND DELETE 500 ENTRIES OF THE "Inherited" ENTRIES.
APPARENTLY THIS DELETED ALL MOVIES FROM DISK BUT IT DID NOT REFLECT IN THE UI BECAUSE IT HAD THE DUPES!!!!
