Under the original step 1, where it said to download, I right-clicked the spotlight.html file and saved that file.

OK fantastic it's easy to fix, I think this is what most of the problems reported are. Follow this link to spotlight.html https://github.com/tedhinklater/Jellyfin...light.html Then click the download button Apologies for the problem with your server earlier, I'll fix the guide instructions

Thank you for the clarification. I'll give this a go tonight. Sorry if I was being a noob and caused you extra work.
P.S. Does Finimalism not work with mobile clients like Swiftfin or Streamyfin? I love the Finimalism, but really I would be the only one to see it when I'm doing server admin stuff. So far I've checked Roku and the iOS apps already mentioned and it doesn't appear that Finimalism is being applied.

Bug reports are always welcome! The CSS only affects the web client, so browsers/Jellyfin native app/Jellyfin Media Player, I think apps like Swiftfin/Findroid etc have their own native renderer/UI so it won't affect those.

Hello and thank you for your contribution. I have an error with the css following the update of jellyfin in the latest version. The Home works but for the admin panel nothing is displayed in the window except the menu on the left.

Can you to the home page, click your User icon, go to Display, and tick "Disable Server-Provided Custom CSS", and save, just to check.
If you can then go to your Dashboard again, and ensure that your "Custom CSS Code" box at the bottom looks like this Then go back to Settings and un-tick "Disable Server-Provided Custom CSS" and save

I forgot to specify that the user menu is not displayed either. Should I delete the css value in branding.xml temporarily?
edit: everything worked fine before the jellyfin upgrade, including Finimalism

I don't think this is a theme problem... Did you backup Jellyfin?

Ah... I didn't make a backup
