PS4 DLNA profile editing

First of all I am very very new to this so if this something simple, sorry! Any help or pointers to info that will teach me the basics

I am running jellyfin 10.10.3 on a windows 10 laptop with an i5 processer and a nvidiaGPU

I am trying to use Jellyfin to watch videos on my PS4. Unfortunatley half of my video files arent visible (MKV format) on my PS4 and the other half (MP4) only have audio playing, no picture. I can play the files on my desktop and samsung smart TV and when I use universal media server my PS4 plays them no problem so I dont think there is problem with the video files themselves

I believe this is a problem with the DLNA profile but I dont know how to edit it. I know how to open find, open, and view it, but what I need to change is completly over my head. Would someone be able to guide me through what I need to edit?
Any help is greatly appreciated

p.s I would get a firestick/chrome cast but I am a very poor college student

The files I couldnt see previously are now visible (I can't play them but I can see them) and the files I could see previously I now cant see.

Additionally during my own troubleshooting I have used handbrake to convert one of the files I couldnt see to an mp4 file, and I can now see an play it. This isnt practical long term though as it take a while to convert each video.

I was looking at the PS4 profile that comes with the DLNA plugin, I don't see why that one wouldn't work.

Can you share your jellyfin logs prior to modifying the PS4 profile?

The log you shared does not appear to have any PS4 playback attempts, AFAICT. I only see a Samsung Smart TV.

Thats weird. I have restored the old PS4 profile and restatred the server and reconnected to it (in the past 15 mins) and am looking at the logs myself now. I can see the samsung smart TV and my philips TV that comes up as "55PUS6754/12" (the model number) but not the PS4. Happy to share a picture to proove I am connected on the PS4.
