Is there any way to know, through the API, when the "Skip Intro" and "Skip Credits" buttons appear? It would be for creating automations with lights in Home Assistant.

I noticed the plugin has the option "Enable injected server-side skip." Should I check the box? I don't understand what it does.
I currently use Jellyfin via: - Roku - Android TV - Kodi I know that for now, the skip buttons aren't available for those clients. So do I have to check that box in order to allow auto-skip? Or if those clients had buttons anyway, do I still need to check that box? Basically, what does it do? lol Thanks! |
