Hi, with every new version of the DLNA plugin it stops working until i change the profiles for Samsung manually. Will there be a fix or a better solution for DLNA profiles in the future? Thx,Suhsi

Are you modifying the existing DLNA profiles and not renaming them?

Is there an existing report that your DLNA profile should be updated?

Hi, every new plugin version creates a new folder with default profiles. Im modifying them like descriped here: https://forum.jellyfin.org/t-solved-gett...-series-tv. Thx for your help!

Ah. I was assuming they were getting over written, but you are right. It does make new folders for each plugin release.
Can you submit a ticket here and request that each release somehow pull-in custom profiles or have an external profile location? https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-plugin-dlna/issues

Thats the solution from the github ticket: "move your custom profiles to the custom folder. that location should be posted to your logs when JF server starts up"
in my case i moved the "modified.xml" from the system profile to the user profile: - user profile directory "/var/lib/jellyfin/plugins/configurations/dlna/user" - system profile directory "/var/lib/jellyfin/plugins/DLNA_6.0.0.0/profiles"

Thanks for following up! I had no idea about the custom profile folder.
