    Hi guys,

Subtitle offset has just shown up for the admin account out of no where and no other user has these options. Currently on version 10.10.3, windows 10 OS.

I've tried creating a new account and giving it identical admin rights, however I still can't see the subtitle offset.

I really like this option and it solves some of my issues with having some subtitles delayed.

Any tips on how I can fix this?

    TIA!
    Vertie.

Subtitle offset would only be present if you are using Jellyfin Media Player. It is not present if you are accessing Jellyfin from a browser.

You can see the subtitle offset while I'm using google chrome, no other media player besides the browser. Is this what you're talking about?

Hmmm.  I never noticed that.  Are your other users direct playing the media or transcoding?  From my testing I observed that A) text based ASS/SRT subs could be offset, image based PGS/VOB/DVD subs could not and B) offset only appeared when the subtitles were NOT burned in.

Is the video being transcoded for your other users?  There is a setting to burn in all subtitles when the video is transcoding.  Is that enabled?  Transcoding the video while directly rendering the subtitles is supported, and I confirmed subtitle offset is still present when subtitle burn in is not occurring during a video transcode.

I tried both options, to transcode and play the videos directly.. same issue, I also downloaded and installed the jellyfin media player but still having the same issue where only 1 user has the subtitle offset.

As I mentioned in my OC, I created a new user with identical permissions and identical settings but the subtitle offset still won't appear.

Can you please tell me where I can find this setting that'll burn in all subtitles so I can check it?

I am not aware of a setting that would prevent users from setting a subtitle offset. Can you share your jellyfin logs via pastebin?
