My extras folder for a few movies has a few videos I wanted to delete, but when deleting the media it ended up deleting the whole extras folder. Is there a way to delete single extras video files?

Also, piggy backing off this thread to ask a few questions as I'm still new to Jellyfin. Is there a way to set the default home page? For example if I wanted the TV app to start in the movies section, could I?

Also, I created a collection, but it plays the movies in the wrong order, is there a way to change the order of a collection or do I have to use a playlist?

A GitHub issue was reported regarding media being deleted when an extra item is removed. If you need to delete something, make sure to delete it from the file system, not the UI.

The homepage cannot be changed to something else.

Collections are sorted by release date. I don't think there's any other way to sort them.

Collections playback order cannot be set or sorted. This is known and an existing feature request.

For the home screen question, click on your profile icon in the top right and click Home. You can re-arrange everything here. Or just turn sections off entirely. These changes carry to all other clients.

But you cannot make an app go straight to a library.

Darn, ok, thanks a bunch. What's strange is the movies should play correctly if played in release date order, they play in some other order I can't identify. Here's a video showing it, https://imgur.com/a/bi5DYAv

Try the play button from inside the collection.

Well that works. Somewhat annoying that I have to do that. Do you have any idea why it's playing them in that order? Or maybe there's a way to see the order it's playing them?
