I have the latest version of the Jellyfin server installed in Docker on OMV system on Dell Wyse 5020. Since installing the version 0.18.4 client on my TV, 4K movies don't play/or laggy in the internal player. I use Jellyfin without transcoding. It worked fine in the previous version. The problem occurs only in the Android TV app.

TCL C725,The problem is only with the internal player, it works on the previous client version. I prefer the internal player because of access to subtitles, the default TV video player has problems with some subtitles, unless someone can recommend an alternative player.

I'm assuming "previous client version" being back when the Android TV app had libVLC.

The RTD2851 SoC in that TV should play this video according to the spec sheet. I'm wondering if this is related to this ticket.

You could try converting the video to plain HDR10. I wrote a guide for this process.
