Bluetooth Audio Issues

Hello! I am having trouble playing my music from the iPhone app while connected to Bluetooth for audio. If I close the app and turn off Bluetooth, then restart, it works fine. But he moment a Bluetooth speaker is connected, the audio stops. This happens with both a car Bluetooth connection and to my ear pods. Anyone else run into this?
