It is very convenient when you need to give access to viewing a certain file to an unlimited number of people by link, without the need for authorization and registration.
Jellyfin only offers the ability to download videos as a file, which is not always appropriate and useful.
Sometimes you need to limit the download and provide a temporary preview.
For example, when a new home video has appeared, it is very convenient to give a link to certain people, or family, friends, to watch.
Without the need for authorization, which greatly complicates the process and takes a lot of time. And elderly people, parents, will not be able to pass authorization at all, even if all the data is available.
It is worth expanding the functionality of jellyfin, at the same time optimizing the process of interaction and viewing.
