Ah, Ok. DV7. This is a known issue with this DV profile. You will need to either force video transcoding by setting a lower max bit rate or convert the video to HDR10. I wrote a guide for the conversion process, linked below.

In the Android TV app from the Jellyfin home screen, click on the gear in the top right, then Playback. There is a max bit rate setting. Most 4K HDR video has a pretty high bit rate. Setting it to 40-50Mbps would trigger a full transcode.

Did you set a low enough bit rate to trigger a transcode? Or was it still trying to direct play?

Yes but I still got a black screen I tried from 20 and above
