Hi I have an m3u8 stream with a Bitrate(kbit): 2000 I added it to Jellyfin via m3u and when I play it without transcoding in my Jellyfin Android APP it gives me a bitrate of 8 mb... I don't understand why the bitrate is higher than the source

If there you go as the user is configured and also the capture of the playback of my app
The origin of the streaming is Bitrate(kbit): 2000 because I have checked it with vlc
The bitrate that the app shows me in this case is 20mb without transcoding... it's weird

It may just be ffprobe misreporting the bit rate.

Is there any way to fix this?

I don't think so. Just a quirk of ffprobe.

Hi, I ran a couple of tests... if I play directly from, for example, the m3u8 link from VLC, it works perfectly and I see that the transmission is 2mb... but from jellyfin it shows that it is approximately 8mb... what I see is happening is that jellyfin takes as bitrate the sum of all the .ts of the m3u8, for that reason it gives a higher bitrate. The problem is that I have to activate transcoding to be able to download to a 2mb transmission, for example.
