    i am new to Jellyfin, {--don't discuss media acquisition--} this years season of the voice. everything works fine but for some reason it is showing me every single poster of the past seasons 

    is there a way to correct this

    It's a setting on the client. Goto Settings>Display and you should find the option under the 'Libraries" section titled "Display missing episodes within seasons" - https://imgur.com/a/IpU2i9p

    i have this enabled, but what im looking for is a way to only show the current season not previous ones

    Did you enable the Missing Episode Fetcher metadata provider? This would be in your library settings. You would need to UNcheck it and the rescan and select "replace all metadata" for the show.

    Dashboard > Libraries > Select TV Shows library > Find the section for TV Shows metadata and uncheck Missing Episode Fetcher.

    Assuming it is enabled.

    You'll only see that option if theTVDB plugin is installed. Otherwise, it's another issue.

    i found it and unchecked the box, i then replaced all meta data but it is still the same

    Go to the tvdb plugin setting page in the dashboard and enable "Remove All Missing Episodes On Refresh".
