Title sums it up for the most part. Everything will load without issue so long as I'm not playing it on my pc, which isn't even the pc running the server. I will load into Jellyfin and I am able to browse, edit, delete, add movies without issue but the second I think about playing anything the entire client will freeze. It won't even load into the player to show that it's just getting the moving ready to play, it'll freeze on the very page I clicked play on. I've tried reinstalling the media player but that didn't solve the issue, any other tips or ideas as to what could be going on?

Ah also, the media player was working on my pc just fine up until a week or so ago. The only major change I can think of happening was that I connected my pc's, both the server and the one I'm trying to watch on, to an ethernet cable.

Attached is a gif screen recording to show the issue.

Can you replicate the problem then share your jellyfin log via privatebin.net?

I would love to provide logs, but I can't figure out where they would be located. Server is running win11 and client is also on win11. I tried checking the install directory but I couldn't find any references towards logs.

Navigate to the dashboard on your server, where you'll find an option for logs.

These are the latest logs I can find. After replicating the issue, new logs did not appear but this log was about 30ish minutes before I tried recreating the issue again.

We also need to check the server log, which will be named with "log" followed by the date. Please recreate the steps you demonstrated in the gif again and then post the server logs. If it doesn't appear, navigate to:
C:\ProgramData\Jellyfin\Server\log and retrieve the log from there.

Also, what are your server specs?

If you could also provide the JMP logs, that would be great.

    C:\Users\yourUser\appdata\local\jellyfinmediaplayer\logs

Replicate the problem first. JMP resets the log file after each start up.

    JMP Logs: https://privatebin.net/?52ed558e7ea345d4...DDji4uWPZ3
I couldn't find any logs in C:\ProgramData\Jellyfin\Server\, there were no files called log and no folders called log either. I checked for the logs on the server pc, which is where I'm assuming I was supposed to look.

    Server specs are as follow:
    - i9-12900k
    - RTX 3060(12gb)
    - 96GB DDR5 RAM at 4800MT/s
    - 1TB WD Black SSD
    - 8TB Ironwolf

You could also look in the server dashboard, there is a logs subsection.

Can you submit a bug report to the Jellyfin Media Player git? I don't see anything obviously wrong.

    https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-med...yer/issues

Double check someone else didn't already submit the same issue first.
