stalling on video playback

None of the clients at this point support menus that I'm aware of. Maybe Kodi? The transcoded version will be AVC, but you're not receiving any video at all if you look at the ffmpeg logs....no video has been touched, zero frames on most logs. It probably also reports AAC audio despite the media being DTS-MA. What's important is the source, not what's reported on playback.

Those ffmpeg logs look normal.

It measures the size of the video and audio stream plus the overhead of the file structure (mux overhead).  It being unknown is normal.

so what could it be then? I'll try a different browser, may be its the chrome that is lagging
