    Hi everyone,

I am having trouble with direct playing 4k HDR movie, i am pretty sure is not my connection. I am streaming from a mini pc with N100 CPU to my high end pc. The stutter happens during high action sequences, i have observed it happening in Sonic 2 and the marvels movie. The log should be attached here. Any solutions are welcome. Thanks in advance.

    Server specs?
    Client specs?
    Network specs?
Do you connect to the server with a local IP, with cable or Wi-Fi? :-)

What Jellyfin player do you use? Jellyfin Media Player or in browser or something else?

Server spec: N100, 32gb ram, 512gb m.2 sdd + 1tb hdd. The movies are stored on the sdd
    Client spec: R7 9700x, 32gb ram, 2tb, 9070xt
Network spec: 1000MB/S up and down for server (ethernet), the client is connected to 5GHz wifi with an up/down of around 700MB/S.
Jellyfin Media Player with MPV SHIM.

Got to add that by stutters, i mean like small frame drops during high action sequences.

    Thanks for those informations.

In Jellyfin Media Player click on your profile, client settings and change the cache size to very large.
