Click on Start > type Resource Monitor > click Network tab > expand Listening Ports table
Find jellyfin.exe on port 8096. What is the text in the Firewall Status column? And can you share your full jellyfin logs via privatebin.net?

Hi,
Here is the link and now I'm unable to start my server https://privatebin.net/?407243c0c38b9a67...z7qDhneAnt
Yesterday, 12:47 PM
Code: 2025-04-22 20:20:22.185 +08:00] [FTL] [1] Main: Unhandled Exception Were permissions changed on the jellyfin app directory? Or the user that runs Jellyfin? What happens if you run the tray app as admin?
Now I can seem to go into jellyfin server after running as a admin and I didn't change any permission on the jellyfin app directory
Yesterday, 01:02 PM
Also I've check in Resource Monitor for Jellyfin for Listening Ports in Firewall Status is: Not Allowed, Not Restricted
Yesterday, 01:04 PM
Is your network interface set to private?
Huh, I just check in my Firewall settings that Jellyfin was to block connection and the profile was only set to public only, so I change it to private and allow the connection
Yesterday, 01:32 PM
Is it working now?
Yup but I still don't have a IP Address to connect from my phone to my server since it's still using localhost
Shouldn't it bind to my local server ip address? Here is the log when starting up https://privatebin.net/?b75681e323ab41cc...v5BCgXR6bm |
