Sync with Kodi is weird! Help needed.

Hi y'all!

I have Jellyfin on the same machine as the client which is Kodi. I think Jellyfin has all the necessary plugins (Kodi sync) and Kodi all the right addons but the sync i weird.

It requires multiple restarts and manual syncing in Jellyfin before the new content becomes visible in Kodi. And when it does the old content that's already deleted from Jellyfins library still show up in Kodi.

I am guessing that Kodi is the problem because when I check in Jellyfin Media Player the right content is showing up there. 


What am I missing?!

Answer to myself...

Installed both Kodi and Jellyfin server from scratch and setup it all again. That solved everything now all my problems with syncing Jellyfin/Kodi are gone!
