Simply put my jellyfin installation was installed on my C: drive (so the default programdata and program files location). The actual media is stored on a separate drive already, so im good there. What i want to be able to do and move the jellyfin installation and all the configuration settings to a separate hardrive so if i ever need to reinstall windows i wont need to perform a fresh install of jellyfin and reconfigure my server all over again.
I've attempted to move the programdata and the installation files but of course the server wont start because it cant find the programdata files on C: anymore. I even tried using a using portable version of jellyfin and tried pointing the the server to a copy of the files in the new drive location but no luck.
Is there a guide or tool that can be used to completly move my server from one drive to another?
