Config backup on Synology

Before I update to the latest container build, am I right in thinking that to backup my current config (thumbs, posters etc) on my Synology NAS, that I need to:

- Stop the container
- Copy the cache and config folders that are in my docker/jellyfin folder 
- Save them to a backup destination 
- Update to latest 10.10.7
- Restart container
