    Hello,

I've enabled the folder structure display in Jellyfin. I can see the directory structure on my PC and phone. Unfortunately, I can't see the folders on the Fire TV Stick and in Android tv. What else can I configure? Thank you for your help.

I do not believe folder view works for most clients outside of web. If you want a true folder view, you'd have to run Kodi alongside Jellyfin.

OK but why does it work on some type of devices?

    Hi,
I have a Jellyfin application on a self-hosted TrueNAS system. When setting up the content type to music, only albums can be seen. I would like to apply a real folder view for this library. When I setup in Server - Libraries - Display --> Display a folder view to show plain media folders, even when this option is selected, I do not have a real folder view with the content of my music folder full of .mp3, .flac, etc.
I would like to see a real folder structure in Jellyfin for my music files because I have not only whole albums but some mixed folders e.g. 90's music.
I have already tried with setting the content type to 'Home videos and photos' or 'Music Videos' but it did not work either. The option folder on the left did display only the main directory but nothing inside.
This feature would also be very useful on the Android phone app together with Android Auto. When I sit in my car, I need to start playing anything in Jellyfin so that it display any content. Otherwise Jellyfin on the Android auto doesn't display anything.
    What else can be done?

Don't get me wrong, I like Jellyfin because besides these drawbacks it is very cool and other functions work right. With these 2 settings: Real FOLDER VIEW and good Android Auto, this would be the PERFECT media app.

    Jellyfin configuration:
    TrueNAS Scale: 25.04.1
    App Version: v10.10.7
    Jellyfin Android app version: 2.6.3
    Android Auto: 14.7.652684-release (147652684)
