I guess my episodes are missing some metadata. So here's the story.

I recorded some series using screen recording OBS Studio and cut out commercials using Shutter Encoder. I put episodes under folder with series name and [imdbid-xxxx] suffix. Most of episodes have Series name, episode number, and imdbid. The ones with correct names have a valid descriptions and images downloaded from provider.

Still, I need to manually choose next episode and manually fast forward intros. I've installed Intro Skipper plugin, but it doesn't work for me.

I've also setup play next episode automatically. I've heard that without this setting I should see play next episode button by default. That's not the case in my situation. Please guide me what am I missing?

    Read this: https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server/media/shows/

In order for the Intro Skipper to work, you need to run the "Detect and Analyse Media Segments" under Scheduled Tasks.

You also need to configure your Media Segment Actions under your user account Playback settings, or the settings in a client app if you're using one.

    1. Click your user icon at the top right
    2. Click Playback
    3. Configure Media Segment Actions, set everything to Ask To Skip
