For about the last 6 months my Jellyfin have had big problems with subtitles being out of sync.
Current version is 10.10.7 docker image by linuxserver.io, and been running the "latest"-branch from there with running an update-check/update bi-weekly, and it's been the same issue on every version last 6 months, give or take.

It happens on perhaps 15% of the videos from the beginning.
But if I stop it and then continue watching later, it happens on over 50%. Perhaps a lot more, since I've started to avoid pausing, stopping, and jumping in the videos for this reason.

It happens with both .srt and sub streams embedded in the video file (not embedded in the video-stream itself of course).

When trying the same videos with e.g. VLC the subtitles are synced.

    Anyone else have this issue?

Chrome based web browser on PC.

I didn't even consider it could be on client side.
I tried in Firefox now and it was synced.

Problem solved from Jellyfin standpoint. Thank you!
