Hi there,
I freshly installed Jellyfin to two different virtual machines. First one was FreeBSD based, with the jellyfin server running in a jail. The second one is a debian 13 (trixie) VM. Both installations went without problem. I have the media files mounted under /mnt/media folder which is a read-only smb share. I can see the files from console. The directory (/mnt/media) is owned by jellyfin user, with 755 permissions. When media library locations are defined during installation, I know that the jellyfin server was able access them in both scenarios described above and downloaded the metadata. Once everything settled down, and the scanning has reached 100%, I logged in as the admin user to the server's ip, reached the web interface at port 8096, which I can see and operate links, etc. However, there is no thumbnails shown on the home page and the on any of the library pages. Please see the screenshots below. What am I missing. Any input will be greatly appreciated.
