Hi,
Playing of movies etc works perfectly across the many networks / subnets I have in my setup, if I manually enter the IP of the server. My problem is that the Server is not auto detected by the clients that are on different networks / subnets to the server.
My setup is as below:
—- LAN 1 —- 1.1.1.0/24 —- JELLYFIN SERVER 1.1.1.10
WAN —- OPNSENSE —- LAN 2 —- 2.2.2.0/24 —- JELLYFIN CLIENT 2.2.2.78
—- LAN 3 —- 3.3.3.0/24 —- JELLYFIN CLIENT 3.3.3.54
Each LAN has full access to each of the other LANs and can connect to the server fine only after manually entering the IP of 1.1.1.10:8096.
Question is how to I broadcast Jellyfin Server to all Networks / Subnets?
I don’t seem to find much except failure stories around Port Forward, Firewall Rules.
