Hi, I did setup a music library after tagging all entries with Musicbrainz Picard and Mp3tag.

Works well so far apart some minor glitches like some artist image missing.

When I then go to the artist view, the bio of the artist is not picked up or shown. Only a link to MusicBrainz is shown, and when click it the webpage opens. Please see attached screenshot.

Can you help what to set to see/scrape the biography of an artist?

My folder structure is currently Music/<artist>/<album>/<artist> - <songtitle>.mp3

    Is that correct?

How did you setup you music library to get the biography of an artist? Can you share this for me, please, so I can follow your setup?

    salut,

même soucis ici avec le même groupe !! j'ai essayé de "jouer" avec les métadonnées mais ça n'a pas fonctionné !

    ensuite, j'ai rajouté l'id de l'artiste de :

    - theaudiodb : rien
    - dyscogs : rien
    - apple music : en anglais mais ok !
    regards !

    Thank you for your reply,

but where did you enter the apple artist ID? Usually there is no field for it in the metadata and therefore no tag in the artist.nfo.

    Or do I misunderstand you?
    Thanks

BTW: I found this in an Emby forum: " HI, yes that structure is right, but currently artist and album nfo files are only written by Emby Server, not read in.  Support for this is planned for future updates"

It tells me, the .nfo files are only written, but never used to display the content someone manually adjusts. So, unless fiddling with the database, there is no chance to change content for the artist or album  Weary-face
