What codecs can this hardware accelerate in Jellyfin?

Hello, good day to you all!

I've made a headless laptop into a Jellyfin server, but i'm slightly confused on hardware acceleration. Looking at the Intel site, most codecs are encode/decode on 11th Gen UHD, but certain HEVC codecs (HEVC 4:2:2, HEVC 12-bit) and AV1 are listed as decode-only.

Is it safe to turn AV1 & HEVC on for HW Acceleration, with them being decode only?

You can enable all HW codecs except the HW AV1 encoder.

Note that the low-power h26x encoder requires additional setup, see the HWA documentation.

Do I need the low-power mode to encode h26x? Is there any cons to enabling it?
