This part of the logs seems odd to me. Still less than 10% RAM and CPU usage so I think it's hung up but I can't tell?

Now the docker instance flaps when starting and even though docker says it's started no ports are available and I get a 502 error when trying to connect. 

Reverting the database to the backup and rolling back to 10.7 now wont load saying it's unhealthy. Im pretty bummed about this because my watchtower kicked off this upgrade by surprise to me. Hoping I can resurrect this somehow.

It seems transcoding on Android TV app is broken on this new release, there is no error message, it just silently reverts to direct play, I did also see that sometimes it won't chose another audio track it reverts to the default used when starting playback.
No issue on the Android client or webapp

Updated my install to the latest release.
Few minor issues resolved by resetting the Jellyfin player caches and browser caches, also had to disable any browser "ad blockers" when using a browser to access the server. So far everything "appears" to be functional, will continue testing.

For upgrading from 10.10.7 to 10.11 in Debian, is it as simple as running apt upgrade? I presume not, but I haven't found any definitive instructions for doing the upgrade. Does anyone know of a walk-through for the process?

Had to revert
Libraries wouldn't load especially YouTube one. Idk if it was Metadata did a full rescan didnt make a difference. Reverted to 10.10.7 for now

This broke the Jellyfin WebOS Client.
Using the Prefer fMP4 option (which was completely broken before) gets it somewhat working now....
But eventually the TV just reboots itself or the app (out of memory) .....
It also takes longer to start the playback.

There seems also be a problem with the transcode/remux buffer/cache.
Watching it in the GUI...
It fills up, resets, fills up again, resets...
But I'm not sure if this is caused by certain files or by playback duration,
e.g. it happens later in playback.

the transcode/remux cache problem seems to a problem with the files.
remuxing them with:
ffmpeg -fflags +genpts+igndts -i "input.mkv" -avoid_negative_ts make_zero -max_muxing_queue_size 2048 -map 0 -c copy output.mkv
seems to fix it.
maybe it was not so noticeable when "Prefer fMP4 option..." was turned off

I have two instances, a test one on windows, and live one on linux. Library is a reasonable size, about 10000 movies. Upgraded both - only issues during migration were that TVDB plugin did not make it - needed to add that manually afterwards to both and tweak library settings. The manual rescan afterwards hung on both at about 97% for ages, but did eventually finish.

Remaining issues :-
Playlists have disappeared on the windows version - they are there on the linux version.
Collections are awfully slow - do eventually appear on linux - windows version remains blank.

I tried upgrading from 10.10.7 to 10.11 this morning in ubuntu 24.04 lts bare metal and received the following errors:

   

   

I have left the server in "shutdown" status for the time been hoping someone else has encountered this and how you proceeded from this point.

Playlists have disappeared on the windows version - they are there on the linux version.

Mine seemingly disappeared on linux.
Creating a new playlist made the old playlists reappear.
Then it was a matter of juggling a few items around to make the old playlists stick around after deleting the new test playlist.
