How to Force a Primary Poster?

I can't get Jellyfin to use my cover posters.

When creating libraries, there's an option to save artwork with the media. It says it will make it easier to modify. How so? I did this and can't modify the covers to use the ones I want.

When you righ-click a cover and get a menu and "Edit Images," it shows various images and their resolutions such as Primary, Backdrop, etc. I believe primary is the one being used for poster views. Is the resolution stated here the actual raw dimensions of the image? An example of mine says the primary image is 2000x3000 pixels. I understand Jellyfin resizes images because on my computer monitor, this image is only 210x310. I assume the images are cached somewhere, but I've read that they have to be redrawn every time you scroll down a page. I get this is the reason why on slower streaming boxes that the covers are blank for a couple of seconds when you scroll.

Am I wrong to believe that these load times would be lower if the raw images were smaller? 2000x3000 is larger than my entire monitor, yet the images displayed are only about 3 inches high. I know the clarity is better using a high resolution image, but I don't think this much of an excess is usefull.

How do I get the artwork I want to display? I've scanned a hundred times, refreshed metadata, rebooted the server, etc., but the same image persists. I've even turned off all scrapers, removed NFOs, and rescanned.

Maybe someone can shed a light on this.
