Jellyfin for Kodi - Performance issue / server DB lockup 10.11.2

As reported below, when running an initial sync in Jellyfin for Kodi in the default 'add-on' mode against a 10.11.2 server, when it starts to sync the Music library, the server GUI becomes unresponsive/extremely slow and may result in a locked DB which requires a server restart.

There appears to be significant API/DB performance issues in the latest release, as well as 10.11.0 and 10.11.1.

I am using the latest version of the Kodi add-on as well as LibreELEC (Omega) 12.2 stable.
