    Hi,

I have a somewhat strange problem...

I have a Fire TV Stick 4k Max with the current server version 10.11.3 and the current app version on the stick.

For some series episodes, the last sentence or sound is repeated at the end even though the playback time is over and the preview screen should normally appear, where the next episode starts automatically after 7 seconds by default.

I don't know how to describe it better, but this only happens on the Fire TV Stick 4k Max. It doesn't happen in the browser, the desktop app, or the LG WebOS app.

Example: A series episode lasts 45:07, and when it ends, the preview screen should appear. But about 2-3 seconds after the regular running time, the last sound is played AGAIN. This does not happen with all episodes. I'm slowly getting desperate.

Is there any reason why this happens?

    What could it be?

I discovered something related to this, and although it solves the “audio problem,” it creates a new one with VOB subtitles.

When I go to “Settings” in Jellyfin FireTV, then to “Playback,” and then to “Extras,” there is an option called “Dolby Digital Audio bitstreaming.”

When I enable this, the sound problems disappear, but movies and series with VoB subtitles have a delayed display and are no longer transcoded.

No matter how I set it... it's a choice between a rock and a hard place.

    Additional note:

I've been working on this for hours and have discovered the following:

    1. When I disable Dolby Digital Audio Bitstreaming, it transcodes all audio tracks, which are ALWAYS AC3 for me, and that's why I get sound errors at the end. So I re-enabled “Dolby Digital Audio Bitstreaming,” as it was enabled by default on FireTV.

    2. VoB subtitles are delayed or displayed longer when Dolby Digital Audio Bitstreaming is enabled. That's my problem now.

    How do I solve it?

Basically, the error is now with the VoB subtitles and not with the sound. Is this a known error that the subtitles are delayed? It's super annoying when you have a foreign language dialogue and the subtitles are not synchronized with the image because something is wrong here.
