    Hi,
    I have Jellyfin version 10.11.2 on Debian 12.

    I'm trying to install the ldap plugin.

    So, I attempted a manual installation of the ldap plugin:
    "unzip ldap-authentication_22.0.0.0.zip -d /opt/jellyfin/jellyfin/plugins/"

    "chown -R jellyfin:jellyfin /opt/jellyfin/jellyfin/plugins/"

    "systemctl restart jellyfin"

    Then, I tried to view a log entry using the keyword "ldap" in the following logs: "tail -f /opt/jellyfin/log/log_20251121.log | grep -i ldap"

    I didn't see anything related to ldap.

    And on the web interface, when I go to Plugins, there's a blue circle that spins continuously, and I don't see anything. Nothing.

    I also tried with V18 >> same problem.

    Perhaps I'm not using the right method. Could you please help me?

    Best regards

    Any reason to not install it from the admin panel?? Did you try?

    Hi Duvel,

    I'm having trouble with it; I have a blue circle that just keeps spinning (it might be a block by my company to retrieve the plugins, which is entirely possible, but I was able to download the zip files from the internet and upload them via WinSCP to the server hosting Jellyfin).

    That being said, I tried installing it again with the fix on version 22.

    I checked the meta.json version:

    " cat /opt/jellyfin/jellyfin/plugins/meta.json
    {
    "category": "Administration",
    "changelog": "- Fix 10.11.2 support (#195) @crobibero",
    "description": "Authenticate your Jellyfin users against an LDAP database, and optionally create users who do not yet exist automatically.\n\nAllows the administrator to customize most aspects of the LDAP authentication process, including customizable search attributes, username attribute, and a search filter for administrative users (set on user creation). The user, via the \"Manual Login\" process, can enter any valid attribute value, which will be mapped back to the specified username attribute automatically as well.\n",
    "guid": "958aad66-3784-4d2a-b89a-a7b6fab6e25c",
    "imageUrl": "https://repo.jellyfin.org/releases/plugin/images/jellyfin-plugin-ldapauth.png",
    "name": "LDAP Authentication",
    "overview": "Authenticate users against an LDAP database",
    "owner": "jellyfin",
    "targetAbi": "10.11.2.0",
    "timestamp": "2025-11-03T02:58:12Z",
    "version": "22.0.0.0"
    "

    Can you confirm that this is normally compatible?

    Best regards
