so I'm currently making the switch from plex to jellyfin and I've been adding the libraries 1 by 1,after I load a library I let jellyfin scan everything, then I go through and correct any Metadata that's wrong, fix the covers, once I'm satisfied, I add another library and repeat the process, as I was trying to match file parity w/ plex (jellyfin doesn't keep a running count of how many movies/show in a given library like plex does and i don't like going through my library 100 titles at a time. As I was doing this, I removed the library limit of 100 titles and have been having issues getting jellyfin to load a whole library. for instance, I have just over 4100 movies, 2 minutes later I'm still waiting on it to load in all the movies/covers, if I impose the library limit, the issue goes away, this is a mix of hdd & 2 ssd, jellyfin itself is installed on an nvme (I know jellyfin install dir has no bearing on load times, at least from what I can see) I'm running this on windows 11 on a 1gb connection so inet speed should not be an issue, plex meanwhile has never had an issue loading efficiently, so I'm perplexed as to what could be causing this issue, also is there a way to get a running count like plex? the reports plugin didn't quite scratch the itch for me and would it also be possible to have movie editions listed on the details page? thanks in advance, before you ask, yes, I want to keep this on windows if at all possible...
