Hi, I noticed that in Artists view, Jellyfin diplays some artists twice, case sensitive. So I have ABBA and Abba, Aaesma daeva and Aesma Daeva etc. I checked the metadata and in all cases I checked all the files have the same case in the artist tag, so it does not come from the files metadata.
When I open the artist, there are always all the albums in both versions. However artist bio is missing in the artist named by metadata, but displays in the second one (named by folder?).
For example all the files have Amberian Dawn in metadata (artist tag), but are in a folder named Amberian dawn. This is the only place, I believe, where Jellyfin coul have read two case-different names at the same time. The Amberian Dawn does not display artist bio, but the Amberian dawn artist does.
Is there any other reason? And mainly is there any way to fix this behavior or manually merge the two case-different artists?
My data structure is /artist folders "Artist"/albums "YYYY - Album"
Artist === YYYY - Album
=== YYYY - Album
=== YYYY - Album
etc.
I have all the metadata meticulously filled.
Jellyfin 10.8.13, Windows x64 installer, native web client.
Thank you!
