I thought it might be Firefox not supporting HEVC, but the same happens with Edge (which I thought supports HEVC, I have bought the codec from the MS store ages ago), and it also happens with the Jellyfin Media Player which I thought was made to solve these codec problems?
No GPU, no HW acceleration available. Transcoding works fine (at 10Mbps bitrate), but I'd rather everything direct played to get maximum quality and less load on the server.
Good call, I forgot about those. I just left a video stuttering twice on direct play, but no log was generated. Logs were generated when the video initially started playing transcoded, but nothing for Direct Play 🤔
If it generates one later I'll edit this post and add it.
