    Hey there!

I am admittedly completely new to Jellyfin and server storage. However, I have a personal media collection I want to start storing remotely. Mostly consists of movies/tv shows and home photos and videos. I need some help and advice on how best to set this up...

My main daily computer is a 2023 Macbook Pro. This is where things are stored now and where I want to be able to upload media to a Jellyfin server. I have read that a Mini PC set up with Jellyfin is a good option and relatively affordable, so that was my plan. Assuming I go this route, how can I upload content from my Macbook which I use on a daily basis to my Mini PC server? Is this possible?

Any other advice for a newbie before I buy some hardware is much appreciated.

    Thank you!!
