    Chromecast with TV - good or bad for Jellyfin

    Seeking advices, if i should consider buying a Chromecast with tv 4k, or look for something else

    Since the CCwGTV has a USB-C connector, if you found a 3rd party 1G ethernet to USB-C adapter that also passed through power it should work. Google only sells the 100Mbps adapter you mentioned.

    Having said that, I haven't had any issues with high bit rate content on WiFI 5.

    Using Jellyfin with casting, regardless of the target device, doesn't work very well. Stick with the Android TV Jellyfin app.
