Problem with 7.1 TrueHD

I’ve been able to try the suggested above, apologies it wasn’t sooner. After switching it to stereo and restarting the app on both, the sound still didn’t play. I have installed the Jellyfin app on my iPad instead of Swiftfin and the audio works in this version, so it’s now just the TV app that isn’t working.
Not sure what else to try. As a test I also switched max number of channels to 5.1 but no cigar.
