You can try re-encoding the affected video files and have their resolutions not be anamorphic.

If you use something like Handbrake, its GUI will tell you what the storage and playback resolutions will be after encoding a video.

In my understanding Reencording is a loss of quality. Or is there a way to make it lossless?
