Yeah. Not sure what you can do since it wants to direct play. And the S23 should be pretty capable of direct playing most everything modern.
You have a couple options, set the Jellyfin Android app to use an external player and install one. Or you can use Findroid, a great 3rd party Jellyfin video player (no music support). You can switch between having Findroid use exo or MPV as the video player.
