Hey there,
so I've set up myself a nice Jellyfin server and I'm currently working on the settings. There is the possibility of enabling tone mapping which maps HDR to SDR. However, if I want to watch a movie on a 4K HDR capable device, wouldn't it make sense to turn it off or is tone mapping disabled by default in this case?
I wasn't able to find answers in the documentation - maybe I didn't manage to look at the right places so feel free to point me in a direction, too!
