    I am not a lawyer and cannot give legal advise nor are we experts in your jurisdiction's laws, which vary worldwide.

    I will say that our users are all over the world and I'm not aware of anyone "getting in trouble" for using Jellyfin.

    At a minimum you should be using https with a reverse proxy. Or VPN if you are paranoid. Wireguard, Tailscale, OpenVPN, whichever is fine.
