Primary View with long files names possible?

Benfits of List and Primary view at once?

How difficult on android would it be to get the big preview like in the primary view but with the not cut off file file names of the list view?

Please keep in mind I'm very new.
BTW I really appreciate a forum. Its such a better format for this sort of thing.
